As a member of the global village, Thinking Electronics recognizes the limited water resources, especially in densely populated areas like Taiwan. Although the company's water consumption in production activities and daily operations is relatively low, efficient water resource utilization is one of the company's goals in promoting energy conservation and carbon reduction.
Therefore, the company implements various measures to enhance water efficiency. For instance, it recycles discharged water from the reverse osmosis (RO) system for use in air conditioning cooling towers and as cooling water for processes utilizing RO cutting. Additionally, water collected after treatment by newly added ultrafiltration (UF) and RO pure water equipment is circulated back into the production processes. In the fiscal year 112, the total water consumption of the company and its subsidiaries was 76,461 cubic meters, an increase of 9,990 cubic meters compared to the previous fiscal year's 74,365 cubic meters. This increase of 1.4% is attributed to the construction and commissioning of the Nanzi plant and machine testing.
