Safety and Health Management System

  • Safety and Health Management System is managed through pre-review:
  1. Risk Identification and Assessment:

    Conduct regular safety and health risk identification annually. When developing or introducing new processes, such as introducing new chemicals or machinery and equipment, initiate periodic assessments. After assessment, appropriate preventive measures or necessary control methods are taken to reduce risks within acceptable limits.

  2. Regulatory Compliance Audit:

    Actively collect applicable safety and health regulations quarterly and conduct compliance assessments. For areas with relevant impacts or requiring improvement, conduct safety and health risk assessments to minimize impacts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.

  3. Establishment of Objectives, Targets, and Management Plans:

    To implement the company's environmental and safety and health policies, prioritize improvement risks, non-compliance with regulations, and stakeholders' opinions identified through risk assessments and regulatory audits. Based on this, establish safety and health objectives to continuously improve workplace environmental safety and health hazards and enhance the company's safety and health performance.

  • Workplace Environment and Personal Safety Protection Measures:

    The company has established the following protection measures to comply with a safe, clean, and comfortable working environment during various operations or services:

  1. Factory Safety:

    1. Segregate factory operation areas according to production operation needs, into operation areas, storage areas, equipment areas, and office areas, ensuring personnel have safe activity spaces.
    2. Install a comprehensive fire alarm system throughout the factory, with detectors, fire extinguishers, fire hydrants, and a fire alarm receiving unit widely distributed.
    3. Provide rules and guidelines for operation safety to ensure correct operation, personnel safety, and product quality, such as equipment installation and protective measures.
    4. Equip the factory with machinery maintenance facilities and a broadcast system, install emergency exits according to regulations, and clearly mark them.
    5. Firefighting equipment, protective equipment, alarm systems, etc., are installed as required and regularly inspected and maintained to ensure they are in good working condition.

  2. Operational Environment and Personnel Safety:

    1. Hazardous substances, dangerous goods, and organic solvents are isolated, stored, labeled, and warned against.
    2. Identify and provide appropriate working environments for personnel workplaces, such as temperature, humidity, brightness, ventilation, cleanliness, etc.
    3. To consider everyone's health, the company conducts regular health checks. The aforementioned checks include general checks and special operation checks. General checks refer to employee health checks conducted in accordance with labor health protection regulations, with a frequency of once a year; special operation checks target employees in special operation areas such as nickel operations, noise operations, ionizing radiation operations, etc., and are conducted once a year.

  3. Facility Safety and Safety Awareness Enhancement:

    1. Regularly clean and update the filters of water dispensers in the factory, and regularly inspect the water quality.
    2. Establish a safety protection system and improve manpower and equipment setup. Establish an emergency response organization, set up various subgroups, and organize regular training activities.
    3. Conduct safety and health education and training: The company's safety and health training is scheduled and implemented according to annual safety and health needs plans, including training for new employees, incumbent employees, disaster prevention, etc. External training is provided for personnel operating dangerous machinery and equipment to obtain qualified certificates. Professional training is provided for practitioners (such as occupational safety and health management personnel, first aid personnel, organic solvent operators, etc.) to closely integrate production with safety and health.
  • Contractor Safety and Health Management:

    To ensure the safety of all construction personnel inside the factory and to maintain the surrounding environment, the company has established a relevant contractor management system. Before jointly operating with contractors, sign a "Contractor Safety and Health Environmental Protection Agreement" and complete safety and health education and training before entering the construction site to ensure that all operations before, during, and after construction comply with regulations.
